The University Staff Council stands firmly alongside the “Step In. Stand Up” campaign to end sexual violence on campus and elsewhere in the community.
The Council commends the University for taking a proactive and principled approach to educating and empowering students, staff and faculty, and supporting survivors through the creation of the Step In. Stand Up campaign. Initiatives organized under the campaign are vital to the health and wellbeing of the University community.
Texas A&M’s long and storied history demonstrates, Aggies who strive to embody the core values are unstoppable when they are united in a cause. The Council declares its full and enthusiastic support of programs that encourage students, staff and faculty to Step In and Stand Up against sexual harassment and sexual violence.
