Staff specializing in Interpersonal Violence Prevention within the Office of Health Promotion provide education and training to the Texas A&M community on sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, stalking and sexual harassment. Health Promotion helps students take positive action on these topics by facilitating conversations on bystander intervention, consensual language and healthy relationships.
Green Dot teaches Aggie faculty/staff and students to be aware of potential violence around them and provides the skills, strategies, and tactics to use the power of peer influence to intervene appropriately and safely in high-risk situations. Green Dot teaches how to become an active bystander when acts of power-based personal violence are witnessed.
